donna coulson is a child of the risen God.  Jesus is her BFF, and He loves her in spite of her big mouth and all the misguided choices she sometimes makes.

donna coulson is a Wyoming native and avid enthusiast of American history.  Even as a young girl, she was fascinated with the history of Dillon, Wyoming and the short lived but exciting copper boom in the Grand Encampment area.  The youngest of three girls, she spent summers camping, hunting and fishing, hiking and exploring the mountains and prairies of southeast Wyoming with her dad.  Hours in the mountains found her making up stories about the people who explored and settled there, so it’s natural that those some of those stories is now in print with many more to come.

Retired from teaching, donna spends her days writing, blogging, and holding hands with her husband of thirty eight years.  In her 28 years in the classroom, she taught American Sign Language to every grade level from first to eighth, English and journalism to 7th, 8th, and 9th graders,  first grade, fourth grade, fifth grade and sixth grade. She even did a short stint teaching Freshman English at the University of Wyoming as a grad student.

donna loves to sew, crochet and tat, ride her four-wheeler in the mountains, and snorkel in the Caribbean.
