Let’s Get this started!

Haggarty Creek gurgles and frolics down the ravine.  Peace reigns.  The lodgepole pines whisper in the gentle breeze.  A grey squirrel chatters like a crabby old man.  A shiny green hummingbird hovers nearby.

Five hundred cubic centimeter engine beneath me, all four of my low pressure, high traction knob tires grabbing at every rock, my hand on the throttle.  Adrenaline pumps as I come around the corner and increase my speed.  Down into the raging creek, I give no thought to braking.  Icy water sprays.

My AARP card arrived last month.  They think I am worrying about osteoporosis, hot flashes and long term care insurance.  Whatever.
